This is the Best Baked Spaghetti recipe ever! Its amazingly creamy with a melted cheesy center, topped with meat sauce and more bubbly cheese on top. Its so easy and definitely comfort food at its best!
The Baked Spaghetti is perfect for an indulging meal, an excellent item to bring to a pot luck or to feed a crowd at any event. It’s pure comfort food at its best – so no. It is not diet-friendly. It is not skinny. It is not light. It’s just the best kind of spaghetti. It may seem like there is a lot of meat and cheese going on in frequently get 12 portions out of the pan. The flavors are rich enough to satisfy anyone’s pasta craving. Just add a garden salad or some garlic bread for a great quick and easy meal.

The Best Baked Spaghetti
- 1 pound Spaghetti Noodles
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 can Plain Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
- 1/2 small Onion small diced
- 1 Red Pepper chopped
- 1/2 pound Mushrooms sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp Dried Basil
- 2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Cottage Cheese
- 3 tbsp Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Light Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9×13 baking dish or coat with nonstick spray.
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground Turkey, garlic and onion. Cook until Turkey is cooked well (no longer pink), about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble and break apart the Turkey as it cooks; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Add in the peppers and mushrooms. Cook until they are soft. stir often.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, oregano, parsley and cayenne pepper; season with salt and pepper, to taste. heat through.
Mix cream cheese and cottage cheese together well in a small bowl.
Add 1/2 of the spaghetti to the prepared baking dish. Spread the entire cottage cheese mixture on top of the spaghetti. Spread about a cup of tomato sauce mixture on top of the cheese mixture.
Add the rest of the spaghetti noodles on top the finish with the rest of the tomato sauce mixture.
Sprinkle the top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Place in oven and bake until bubbly and heated through. About 25-30 minutes.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
