As my first real project in our new rental I wanted to start in the porch. a beautiful room to walk in to be welcomed and feel very homelike. The porch in our new place is much bigger that the last one. so with fresh beige paint as a canvas I will begin. I came a cross a coat rack someone was selling for $10 it was a basic white metal coat rack with plastic balls at the ends of the bent metal rods. Basically it was exactly what I was looking for.
I somehow fix the 6ft tall coat rack into my little Corolla and drove it home and took it out of my car only to realize it cam apart. i was very excited to start painting. i took the coat rack apart and begun by giving it a good cleaning and let it dry really well.
Now I am ready to start spray painting.
I used Spray paint is a Krylon Metallic Paint in Brilliant Gold. I put on two coats of Paint and waited 30 minutes in between coats.
I painted the rest of the coat rack a Krylon ColorMaster in Blue Ocean Breeze Gloss.
I am so happy with how it turned out!
