Candy Apple Pie

Last Night we had a Fall bbq supper. Steak, corn and salad with fresh rolls it was delicious. It was a great summery meal that fit in with the beautiful October day we had. We can feel the beautiful days slipping away. This candy apple pie seemed to fit so well with the feel of last nights supper. The apple pie is a fall staple here and candy apples fit so well with summer events that just ended and Halloween not so far away. Best of both worlds really.

This pie is super simple to create. I used my own pie filling recipe that you can find here, you can use your own recipe or canned is fine as well.  Pie filling mixed with some melted cinnamon candies and voila you have a beautiful unique dessert that will never be considered as boring as regular apple pie. Also you will be surprised by how much it tastes like Candy apples. With this pie you will never be in fear that your teeth will be pulled out by the sticky candy and you get all the delicious flavour!
